Weighing in at nearly 25,000 pounds, the new Ashland I-180TS2 is the industry’s heaviest-duty unit in the 18-cubic-yard-capacity class of ejector scrapers. The I-180TS2 tackles the toughest applications and material types with construction-grade durability – allowing contractors to move more dirt at lower costs per yard – and with greater day-to-day reliability.
Ideal for use with rubber-tracked or wheeled tractors over 325 hp, the I-180TS2 maximizes its power unit by transferring a portion of the weight for greater traction. Plus, its standard 29.5 x 25 E3/L3 28-ply tires, lower ground pressure and longer rolling radius allow excellent flotation and operational ease in marginally wet or clay soils, as well as in sandy loams or dry topsoil.
Importantly, the I-180TS2 is engineered for maximum uptime and higher production capacity. Its lift cylinders are mounted over the blade to provide a quick response, allowing the tractor to maintain higher ground speed. The large apron opening allows dirt to be easily ejected from the bowl.
Additional rugged performance features of the new I-180TS2 ejector scraper include a heavier-duty framework, larger pins and cylinders, and massive trailing arms for optimum strength and durability. Optional dual-caliper brake systems provide instant stopping power for customers who require ISO 3450 brake standards.
