Vermeer has introduced the HG8000TX, featuring a track undercarriage that allows operators to efficiently move the machine around jobsites. Equipped with 28-inch (71.1 cm) double- or triple-grouser track pads, the tracks provide increased traction in unstable ground conditions, providing access to remote areas, or transport across obstacles such as shallow creeks or ditches, soft sandy or wet soil conditions, and moderate inclines. The HG8000TX is powered by a 1,050 hp (783 kW) Tier 2 CAT diesel engine and offers the largest infeed opening on the market with a millbox opening of 50 inches (127 cm) high by 71.5 inches (182 cm) wide.
